Helen DeEtte Cotten Wells, age 82 and a resident of Pass Christian, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis R. Wells; and her brother, Rufus Cotten. Survivors include her five children, Vicki (Buddy) Palazzo, Cathy (Sam) Noto, Mike Wells, Patti (Ricky) Weeks, and Jimmy Wells; her three siblings, Dot Latil, Peggy Hardenburg, and Bobby Cotten; nine grandchildren, Buddy (Lucy) Palazzo, Brad (Mia) Palazzo, Chrysti (Bailey) Shivers, Nick Noto, Joey (Lesley) Noto, Ben Baranco, Jessica Baranco, Ryan Baranco, and Dylan Wells; and nine great-grandchildren, Savannah Palazzo, Trace Palazzo, Kane Palazzo, Jacob Palazzo, Ty Palazzo, Bailey Shivers, Cole Shivers, Logan Shivers, and Haven Franklin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 11:15 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
