Helen Vithorkis Taylor was born on March 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York.
She was predeceased by her late husband, retired Air Force Lt. Colonel Warren ""Bud"" Taylor, and son Ellis Taylor. Helen is survived by her daughter, Lisa Taylor, and cousin Mary Makris of Biloxi, and cousins Nicholas Saralakis, Pauline Saralakis Solomon of Newton, Massachusetts.
Helen was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Biloxi and in years past was a faithful volunteer at the VA Hospital and a Red Cross volunteer.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Biloxi, at 11 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 am at the church. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Biloxi, Mississippi. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, is serving the family.
