Helen Christ St. Paul, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2016, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in New Orleans, LA., to Dunbar Leopold Christ and Inez Burguieres Christ on April 13, 1928.
She was graduated from Academy of the Sacred Heart High School in New Orleans, LA. She attended H. Sophie Newcomb College where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
Helen is predeceased by her loving husband, Henry Honore St.Paul, Jr., her parents Dunnie and Inez, her loving son, Henry H. St.Paul III, and her daughter Eugenie.
She is survived by her sisters, Ernestine Ulrich and Marion Clerc; her children and their spouses and grandchildren: Julie and husband Bob Allbright, and daughter Ashley Harris Smith; daughter-in law Jennifer Puckett St.Paul, her sons Henry and William, and daughter Jennifer Leigh; daughter Lisa, her husband Richard Hudson, daughter Kristin Ayers and her husband Chris Ayers, and son Chase; son Dunbar, his wife Katharine, daughter Katie and husband James Challen, and their daughters Parker and Landers, daughters Carey and Mary Ann; son Chris, his wife Jeanne, their daughters Laine and Lauren, and son Merritt; son Rene, his wife Liz, their son Penn, and daughters Courtland and Campbell; daughter Coco, her husband Todd Johnson, and sons Todd Jr. and Cole, and daughter Sarah; son Cort, his wife Ingrid, and daughters Catherine and Claire.
Helen will be remembered by her love for her precious eight children, twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and for her devotion to the Catholic Church. She was a volunteer at St.Paul's Catholic Church in Pass Christian, MS and Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, Bay St. Louis, MS with a visitation for family and friends at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the charity of your choice.
