Helen G. “Geri” Morton, age 80, of Saucier, passed away on May 30, 2020.
He was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Morton; her parents, Tommy and Willie Pearl Young; and 2 brothers, William Lee Young and Troy Young.
Survivors include her children, Cindy Morton Ries (Steve), James A. Morton (Brenda), and Dan Morton (Tracy); a brother, Freddie James Young; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was a native of Walnut, MS and for many years, she took care of foster children. She was a loving wife and mother and was dedicated to taking care of her family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, from 2 – 3 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 9 am.
