Helen Shavers Ladner, age 82, of the Dubuisson Community, passed away on March 29, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvis R. Ladner, her parents, Tilton and Georgian Shavers, a great-grandson, Tristen Bennett, a brother, Jim Shavers, and 3 sisters, Ethel Barrale, Willie Cuevas, and Rebecca ""Bill"" Mason.
Survivors include her children, Roger Ladner, Ronnie (Joan) Ladner, Judy (Blu) Dubuisson, and Karen (Steven) Dubuisson, a sister, Ella Mae (Cleyton) Ladner, a brother, Sonny Shavers, 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was a beloved mother and grandmother and she was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was active in the South MS Cursillo Movement and worked several retreats. She enjoyed sewing and working in her flower beds.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 6 - 9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:50 am for a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
