Harry Lee Johnson, age 82 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Johnson was born February 22, 1932 in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Amos A. Johnson and Louise Parker Johnson. He was retired from Consolidated Freight as a truck driver and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Eloise Johnson of Gainesville; daughter, Betty Lomazzo of Gainesville; son, Harry Lee Johnson, Jr. of Biloxi, MS; granddaughter and husband, Michelle and Daniel Goodson of Ocean Springs, MS; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Goodson; grandson, Michael Johnson of Biloxi, MS; great-grandson, Michael Alexander Johnson and number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm, RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park, 4111 Bienville Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
