Harold Hefner

Harold Harrison Hefner, age 83, was born in Cumberland, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Gulfport. He was retired from the United States Air Force with 23 years' service.  He served in Vietnam, England, France, and various bases in America. He was a hero to his two daughters, a fun loving man who loved life, loved to dance, and loved to make people laugh. Mr. Hefner was a member of the American Legion Post 0119, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 332, and Elks Lodge 606.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marie Dean Hefner; parents, John  Harness Hefner  and Thelma Sherman Hefner; grandson, Timothy Rawson; two brothers, John R. Hefner, Sr. and Todd (Petie) Lease; sister, Dorothea Simmons.
He is survived by his two daughters, Antoinette Rawson and her husband Jimmy of Chester, England and Karolyn Wooten of Biloxi; four grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Chelsea, and Stephanie; loving and supportive companion, Margaret Donogriche of Biloxi; extended family the Donogriche's, Linda, Cathy, Joe, and Lisa; sister, Paulette Baber of Lakeland, FL; brother, Timothy Hefner of Maricopa, AZ; sister - in-law, Elaine Dean of Widnes, England.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. A visitation will begin at 11:30AM until service time at the funeral home. A burial will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
