Harold was the son of Mildred Biksey and Harold Lloyd Pace, and the adopted son of John Biksey. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Mark Biksey, his brother Patrick Biksey, and his sister, Judith E. Self.
A proud graduate of Gulfport High School’s class of 1960, Harold spent over 30 years of his professional life working for Lance Inc. His work ethic and commitment to service earned him admiration from both colleagues and friends. In addition to his professional contributions, up until his injury, Harold was active in the Methodist Church where he took on leadership roles in various committees. Ceremonially, he was known for his warmth and ability to connect with others, often described as a “people person” who never met a stranger. His joyful spirit was evident in the hobbies that filled his life, including singing in the choir, enjoying karaoke, and indulging his passion as a dedicated NASCAR and New Orleans Saints fan.
Harold was also known for his playful sense of humor, frequently delighting his family with prank gifts for his brothers-in-laws. He loved his family dearly, which is evident in the lives he touched. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Annette Biksey; his children, Hal (Sherry) Biksey; his affectionate grandchildren, Alicia Cortez and her fiancé Maurice Ableman, Brent (Erin) Biksey, and Nathan Biksey; as well as his treasured great-grandchildren, Emma Cortez, age 13, Ella Cortez, age 5, and Amelia Biksey, age 5. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews who will carry forward his joy and spirit.
