Harlan McDonald

Harlan Dee “Mac” McDonald, age 76 of Long Beach, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

He was born in Baxter Springs, KS.  Mac retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees and also retired as campus chief at University of Southern MS, Long Beach Campus.

Mac was preceded in death by his son, Travis McDonald; his mother, Martha McDonald; and his brother, Harvey McDonald.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann McDonald; his sons, Lester Ray McDonald and Chad McDonald; his siblings, Jeannie Harsh (Gene), Deannie Meyers (David), Shirley Cox (Virgil), Mildred West, and Neal McDonald (Judy); his 4 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sean, Meghan, and Elizabeth; and his 3 great grandchildren, Lain, Brantley, and Maddie.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a church or charity of your choice in honor of Mac.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Biloxi National Cemetery.
