Gwendolyn F Ladner

Gwendolyn F. Ladner, age 77, of Picayune, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in Slidell, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Javenia Farve; her husband, Lamar Ladner; and her brother, JW Farve.

She is survived by her companion of 14 years, Joey Accardo; her children, Vicki (Jarred) Williams and Matthew (Leah) Ladner; her siblings, Linda McKay and Wanda (Raymond) Necaise; grandchildren, Britteny Henderson, Gradon Ladner, Eli Williams, Grantley Ladner, Paisley Williams, and Grastyn Ladner; great-grandchildren, Carter Parsons and Arabelle Henderson; and her Godchildren, Louis Farve, Melissa Saucier, Jerad Ladner, Andreana Farve, and Kayla Lee. 

Gwendolyn was a resident of the Dedeaux community and retired from Hancock County Schools. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Dedeaux, and In Highschool, she was the homecoming queen.

She enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, dancing and supporting her grandchildren in their interests and activities. 

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to each person that has offered prayers. May God bless every one of you. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Dedeaux on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Interment will be at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
