Greg was a Native of Louisiana and Resided in Mississippi over 40 years. He graduated from Istrouma High School and McNeese State University. Greg relocated to Mississippi and greatly contributed to the success of Quality Equipment, Buckner Rental and Red-D-Arc Welderentals. Greg was a great leader as a Manager, Relationship Builder and Outside Sales. Greg received numerous awards in High School and College for his many Football achievements.
He was always recognized for his Leadership and Sales in his career and though he made top branch of the year three times, he was humble and always said" he could not do it without his Team!" All who knew Greg, knew he was an Avid Die hard fan and supporter of LSU and did not miss a game! He reveled in the serenity of fishing, the thrill of hunting and the beauty of nature and wildlife. A versatile musician, he graced us with his talent on various instruments from the piano to the different strings playing the soulful tunes of bluegrass, gospel and every once in a while Jerry Lee Lewis.
Greg also cherished the fulfillment of working the land and witnessing the fruits of his labor and having his family and friends enjoy the land with him. Whatever Greg set his mind to do, he did with a spirit of excellency and will always be remembered for his hard work and love for family and friends.
Greg fought the fight for a year and as he endured, he had his family and a circle of close friends who cared for him and for this, we are very grateful and thank you! A big thank you to Dr. Cory Carter and his staff, Kare-In-Home and Hospice of Light who delivered such great compassion and care for Greg. We also thank Full Life Church in Hurley and many other churches for the love, support and prayers. They were and are still heartfelt and we could not do without all of you!
When Greg would tell a person goodbye, his words were "let me know something" We trust when we are reunited with Greg, we will exchange what we know since we have been away from each other.
