Gregg Matthew Jacobs

Gregg Matthew Jacobs, a cherished son, partner, father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 36. Born on October 5, 1988, Gregg leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and a zest for life.

For seven years, he dedicated his skills as a crane rigger at Ingall's, where he not only honed his craft but also built lasting relationships with his colleagues. Outside of work, Gregg embraced his passions wholeheartedly. He loved to go hunting and fishing, often accompanied by family and friends. His enthusiasm for playing Call of Duty was well-known among his peers, and he delighted in cooking out while building bonfires, creating memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Gregg had an undeniable spirit that made him stand out; his twisted sense of humor could provoke laughter even in the most unexpected moments. His love for music was evident, as he was a frequent concert-goer, reveling in diverse sounds that echoed his vibrant personality.

Gregg shared a profound bond with his life partner, Lauren Wagner, and his beloved children: Bradyn Jacobs, Lylah Jacobs, and Lorelai Wagner Jacobs. The love he shared with them was immeasurable and will continue to resonate in their hearts.

In addition to his immediate family, Gregg is survived by his mother, Lynn Jerome; his siblings, Brandi (Shasta) Triplett, Elizabeth Wallace, and Kayla Jacobs; his grandmother, Gail Edwards; his friends, Montie Grier, Jeremy Ruffin, Seth Borries, and Josh Williamson, James Sheetz and Brad Manus; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will hold tight to the memories they've created together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Greg Jacobs; his son, Wyatt Jacobs; and his grandparents, Charles Dykes, Joseph Edwards, Gerald Jacobs, and Sarah Ann (Ronald) King.

A celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
