Greg McNease of Gulfport passed away January 24, 2013 at the age of 51.
He was born October 10, 1961 in Pascagoula, MS. Greg was a graduate of Pascagoula High School. He obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of Southern Mississippi. Greg was an award winning photojournalist for WLOX for 26 years. For almost three decades, Greg peered through a camera lens, and captured award-winning images from around South Mississippi.
Greg was an avid reader. He was one of kind, making people laugh. He will be sadly missed and loved deeply by his family and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, George McNease.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kristina McNease of Gulfport; his mother, Virginia McNease of Gautier; his brother, Alan McNease of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Karen Thibodeaux of Wiggins and Patty Lee of Vancleave; his aunt, Jean Shoemaker of Gautier; his mother-in-law, Karen DuBois of Saucier; and numerous other family members.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
