Grant served his country honorably during the Korean War, an experience that laid the foundation for a life characterized by a strong commitment to service. After his military career, he became a Seabee and made significant contributions in the aftermath of Hurricane Camilla, demonstrating his unwavering spirit and resilience in the face of adversity.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Grant was known for his vibrant personality and zest for life. He enjoyed many hobbies, including visits to the casino, bowling, and playing practical jokes, which brought joy and laughter to those around him. Above all, Grant cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He is survived by his six children: Cindy, Ron, Steve, Roger, Terri, and Penny, along with his son Jeff, who carry forward the values and love he instilled in them. He was also the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Trudy Mae Foster, who was his partner in life, and his loving parents, Clide and Louise Foster. Their memory lives on in the stories shared and the love passed down through generations.

A private Interment will occur at Biloxi National Cemetery. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport is assisting the family.
