Gordon Lynn Mickey, age 61, of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale E. Mickey and Mary L. Mickey; his brother Ronald Lee Mickey; and his grandparents, Rev. Eugene R. Howard and Mary Louise Howard.
He is survived by his step-sister, Elizabeth Ann Chapman and her husband, Patrick A. Chapman, of Pass Christian; nephews, Jeremy J. Chapman and his wife, Lacie, and Cory P. Chapman; and his special friend Necyme Bey.
An avid reader, he was kind hearted, free spirited, and loved to travel.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Greenwood Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Ft. Worth, Texas.
