Gloria Marie Spence Sharp, age 90 of Saucier, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Spence and Florence Delcuze Spence; her sister, Dorothy Spence; and her step-son, Charles Sharp.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles Howard Sharp; her step-daughter, Darla (James) Fulton; her step-granddaughter, Amanda Fulton and numerous cousins.

Born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Gloria was a proud graduate of Bay High School. After completing her education, she began a dedicated career with Southern Bell Telephone Company, where she faithfully worked for over 35 years. In 1974, she married Mr. Charles Sharp, and together they made their home in Gulfport before settling in Saucier, where they have resided for the past forty years.

Gloria found great joy in traveling across the United States with Charles, often joining church group trips along the way. She also cherished time at home, tending to her flower beds and vegetable gardens, cooking and expressing her creativity through painting.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Picayune.
