Glen Lawrence Beach

November 28, 1956 — July 31, 2025

Pearlington, MS

Glen Lawrence Beach passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 68 after living life to the fullest. He was born November 28, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio to Marion and Jo Beach. Glen grew up climbing trees, getting in and out of scrapes, and learning how to fix things. He joined the army in 1974 as a helicopter mechanic. On the weekends, Glen repaired and raced motorcycles. In 1980, he married Kelley Sessler, and they had four children together. He repaired small engines until becoming a master ASE technician and then opened his own garage. These years were full of running multiple businesses, serving at church, teaching everyone who had an open ear, as well as exploring, swimming, hiking, boating, storytelling, making jokes, and adventure-seeking with his kids.

In 2009, Glen married Tana Pritchard. They started their marriage in Louisiana, but lived in New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Texas, and Ohio before finally settling in Pearlington, Mississippi. Glen was gentle, kind, and incredibly generous to everyone he met. Nicknamed “the five dollar preacher man” while in New Orleans, he would give each homeless person he prayed with a five dollar bill.

He is survived by his wife Tana, his children Sunday, Katy, Emily, and Glen Jacob, his step children Jon, Sonni, Anna, and Chris, as well as his 14 grandchildren: Josiah, Gideon, Tanner, Lily, Ezekiel, Hank, Ava, Ward, Arabelle, Peyton, Josie, Lou Lou, Lenny, Hudson, and Hayes, and his siblings Lindy, Roy and Ron.

Glen spent his whole life living, never wasting a moment of time. He saw this life as a quick stop on the way to eternity and lived that way. He was truly interested in people and their stories and wanted everyone to know about the salvation of Jesus. He used to say, “When I’m sitting at that long table in Heaven covered in food, I want to pick up a grape and throw it across the table at you.”

A Graveside service will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 15th at Biloxi National Cemetery.  Riemann Family Funeral Home, Waveland is assisting the family.
