Glen Lawrence Beach passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 68 after living life to the fullest.
He was born November 28, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio to Marion and Jo Beach. Glen grew up climbing trees, getting in and out of scrapes, and learning how to fix things. He joined the army in 1974 as a helicopter mechanic. On the weekends, Glen repaired and raced motorcycles. In 1980, he married Kelley Sessler, and they had four children together. He repaired small engines until becoming a master ASE technician and then opened his own garage. These years were full of running multiple businesses, serving at church, teaching everyone who had an open ear, as well as exploring, swimming, hiking, boating, storytelling, making jokes, and adventure-seeking with his kids.
In 2009, Glen married Tana Pritchard. They started their marriage in Louisiana, but lived in New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Texas, and Ohio before finally settling in Pearlington, Mississippi. Glen was gentle, kind, and incredibly generous to everyone he met. Nicknamed “the five-dollar preacher man” while in New Orleans, he would give each homeless person he prayed with a five-dollar bill.
