Gladys Mae Sanders, age 93, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed peacefully from this life on October 1, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.
Born on September 16th in Gulfport, Mississippi, Gladys lived a long and beautiful life marked by love, faith, family, and countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know her. She had a way of making people feel loved and welcomed, and her presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. Through the years, she watched her family grow through generations, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the many lives she touched.
During her final hours, she was surrounded by those she loved. She shared precious, lucid moments with her family, offering words of love that they will forever carry in their hearts.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Thomas White; her grandchildren, Jason White and wife Brandy, Heather Hancock, and Ashley Quinn and husband William; her great-grandchildren, Jordyn Boudreaux and husband Bryant, Jalyn and Jayci White, Hailey and Riley Hancock, and Sydney, Sutton, and Sawyer Quinn; along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Sanders, and her eight siblings.
Gladys lived 93 remarkable years, and while her family grieves her absence, they are deeply grateful for the gift of having loved her for so long. Her life was full, her family was close, and she left this earth knowing just how deeply she was loved.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that she has gone home to meet her Maker and has been reunited with those who went before her.
