Gladys Malley

June 10, 1921 — May 29, 2006

Gladys H. Malley Cuevas, 84, of the Dedeaux Community, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 28, 2006.
She was born June 10, 1921 in the Fenton Community and remained a lifelong resident of the area. Mrs. Cuevas was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis J. Cuevas; son, Burnell Cuevas; parents, Alphonse G. and Leontine Malley; brothers: Oswald Malley, Leander Malley, Eldon Malley, and Harbert Malley; sisters: Flecia Woods and Gracie Hoda; son-in-law: Roger Mayne and a daughter-in-law: Aletha Cuevas.
Survivors include 4 children: Jean Mayne, Gulfport, Tommy Cuevas, Gulfport, Mary Ladner, DeLisle, and Angie Head, Dedeaux; 3 siblings: Dorothy Lasher, Kiln, Cecil Ladner, Diamondhead, and C.J. Malley, Kiln; 10 grandchildren: Gregory Hoda, Kevin Hoda, Tammy Sanzin, Melanie Johnson, Denise Mouring, Jeffrey Cuevas, Davey Ladner, Shannon Latimer, Chris Cuevas, and Christi Johnson; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2006 after 7 pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Kiln DeLisle Rd. Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 8 pm. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am Thursday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
Interment will be in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
