Gertrude Virginia Johnson Ladner, 84 of Gulfport, passed away June 11, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Ladner was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Johnson; her husband, Kenneth A. Ladner, and one grandson, Kenneth E. Ladner, Jr., three brothers, Joe, Dee and Charlie Johnson, and one sister, Mary O'Neal, all of Gulfport.
Survivors include her three children, Kenneth E. Ladner, Sr. (Billie Nell) of Saucier, Chester Eric Ladner, Sr. of Saucier, and Pamela A. Sevel (Mike) of Gulfport; six grandchildren, Danny Ladner (Elaine) of Gulfport, Chester Eric Ladner, Jr. (Crystal) of Ocean Springs, Bryan Ladner (Michelle), of Ocean Springs, Nathan Ladner (Amber) of Birmingham, AL, Michael A. Sevel of Austin, TX, and Stacey L. Sevel of Gulfport; six great grandchildren, and one brother, J.P. Johnson.
A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend Doug Reid at 1:00p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Grace Chapel Church on Landon Rd. in Gulfport. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Floral Hills Cemetery.
