Geraldine Rivers

Geraldine C. Rivers, age 82, of Pass Christian, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Jean Necaise; parents, Loren and Aline Necaise; two husbands, Ernest J. Ladner and Richard Rivers; two sons, Kendall and Keith Ladner; and one daughter, Debra Ann Holliman.
Her survivors include her four brothers, Buford Necaise, Berlin Necaise, Clinton Necaise, and Randall Necaise; one sister, Gwendolyn Sewell; two daughters, Pamela Hicks Bryant and Lisa Ladner; one daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hebert; four grandsons, Kendrick Ladner, Tracy Ladner, Nicholas Hicks, Neal Hicks; three granddaughters, Brandy Goff, Amber Ladner, Mary Keller; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Geraldine Rivers was a resident of Pass Christian for over 55 years. She retired from the Stuffed Shirt Factory and was a faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church for over 40 years. After Hurricane Katrina she moved and joined Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 6 - 9 PM, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 8 PM, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Interment will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
