Wayne Suarez

  Gerald Wayne Suarez age 79, of Biloxi, went to his heavenly home on his 79th birthday, Thursday, March 23, 2023. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Martin Suarez & Mattie Mae Stanley Suarez; sisters, Betty Alexander, Bobby Ann Reed, and his sister in law, Geraldine Suarez.

  He is survived by his children, Sharon Shipman (Steve), Linda Hart (Gene), Teresa Winebarger (Edward), Christine Loreman (Todd), Michelle Berry (Roger); his siblings, Louis “Pete” Suarez, Joseph Suarez (Carolyn),  Frank Raymond Suarez, Ronald Suarez (Julie); his grandchildren, Todd Loreman, Jr. (Britney), Kyle Hart (Shelbie), Breanna Steele (Drew), Katlynn Hart, Lloyd Winebarger (Rebecca), Trace Loreman, Aaron Winebarger, Shelby Loreman, Konner Berry, and Kaleb Berry; plus 9 great grandchildren; his special niece, Cherie Albert along with numerous other nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends.

  Wayne was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  He was a man of faith, loving father, and grandfather. He was raised on the corner of Lee Street in Biloxi, where he worked for his father's business, Louis M. Suarez Seafood before spending 20 plus years at Biloxi Freezing, and finally retiring from the Jackson County Road Department after 23 years.  His favorite pastime after retirement was going out to local restaurants with his family and especially looked forward to Wednesday when Cherie took him to any place he wanted for lunch.  Wayne’s favorite holiday was Christmas, he continued his parent’s tradition of decorating the entire yard every year.  He will be deeply missed.

  A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at The Lemoyne Boulevard Baptist Church located at 15005 Lemoyne Blvd. Biloxi, MS  39532.  Inurnment will follow the service in Southern Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 90 in Biloxi.
