Gerald Saucier

Gerald L. Saucier, age 79, of Bay St. Louis, passed away on November 26, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Chevis Saucier; his parents, Walter Roger Saucier and Esther Adam Saucier; a brother, Walter Odelle Saucier; and a sister, Charla Saucier Perronne.

He is survived by his son, Gerald Scott Saucier and his wife, Vanessa; 5 grandchildren, Mathew Scott Saucier (Kasi), Leah Saucier Maddox (Greg), Elizabeth Ann Furr-Huff (Nathaniel), Ciara L. Saucier, and Ryan M. Saucier; 6 great-grandchildren, Jackson Maddox, Keith Saucier, Grant Maddox, Sallie Maddox, Keaton Coleman, and Carson Joffrion; and other relatives and friends.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis and was a graduate of Bay High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 – 1962. Mr. Saucier worked for many years at Coast Electric Power Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football and he was a member of the American Legion Post 77 in Waveland and the Marine Corps League.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from 10 – 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland. A procession will leave the funeral home for a 11:30 graveside service at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
