Gerald Keith "Jerry" Marchioni

Gerald Keith ""Jerry"" Marchioni, age 40, of Gulfport, passed away on December 22, 2012 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fedele Marchioni, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Middleton Marchioni of Gulfport; his children, Makayla Ashton Marchioni, age 12, Malea Ansley Marchioni, age 10, and Tristan Bailey Marchioni, age 9; his mother, Lena P. Marchioni of Biloxi; his siblings, Lynn Lovelace of Pensacola, FL, and Fedele Marchioni, III and Karen Keener, both of Biloxi; and many nieces and nephews.
A native of Biloxi, he was a 1991 graduate of Biloxi High School. He earned a degree in telecom communication at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and was CISCO certified in CCNT and CCNA. Jerry was formerly employed at PAETEC - Windstream in Mobile and currently employed as a networking administrator for Professional Mechanical Technical, Inc. Jerry was also an important part of the family business, MY OH MY, at Edgewater Mall. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport.
Jerry was a sports fan and in his earlier years, he was a member of the Biloxi Little League Allstars that played in the Baseball Little League Regional Tourament. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
His children were the love of his life and he followed them in everything that they did. Tristan was a member of a great youth soccer team named the Invincibles who won the State Soccer Championship and Jerry was there every step of the way. His girls, Makayla and Malea, the darlings of his eye, enjoyed their dance recitals at Jess Dance and Jerry was right there to watch every dance step. Jerry followed Makayla as a member of St. Patrick's Emerald Dance Team. His family was most important to him and he supported all that they enjoyed doing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the: Makayla, Malea, and Tristan Marchioni Educational Fund, at any Hancock Bank location.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from Noon until the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
