Gerald W. ""Gerry"" Lutz, 83, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013, after a short illness.
Gerry was preceded in death by his wife, Connie, and a sister, Arlene.
He is survived by a son, Mark of Westfield, WI; a daughter, Kathleen Anderson (Ronald) of Biloxi; a brother, Donald (Mary Ann) of Brodhead, WI; brother-in law, Jim Ball of Sparta, WI; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Metz of Waukesha, WI, and Dorothy Davis of Union Grove, WI; two granddaughters, Christine Andrews of St. Louis, MO, and Melissa Gigl (David) of Milwaukee, WI; and two great grandchildren, Alley and Tommy. Gerry also had three Step-Grandchildren, seven step-great grand children, and one step-great great grandchild. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and an extended family. All those who knew him feel the loss.
Gerry was a true gentleman. He loved God, family, and his country. He loved spending time with family and friends. He grew up in rural Wisconsin...a simple man. When he worked, he worked hard, but he knew how to have a good time. He never passed up an opportunity to tell a story or make someone laugh. He never met someone he didn't like, or didn't like him! He loved to golf and work with wood. He made the most beautiful clocks, and if you received one, you knew you were loved by the best. Heaven has a very special angel. We are much richer for having known him.
Gerry proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed on Okinawa.
Gerry was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Biloxi.
