Gerald Edward "Jerry" Holley

Jerry Holley, 78, a lifelong resident of Pass Christian passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Biloxi, MS.
Mr. Holley is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Malley Holley; his son Frankie Holley; his grandson Justin Holley; his siblings George, Charlie, Arnold, Howard, Earl, and Raymond Holley, Alice Cox, Inez Kopszywa and Delores Mason; and his parents Charlie and Bertha Holley.
He is survived by his children Sue (Jeff) Beaver of Perkinston; Eddie (Janice) Holley of Pass Christian; Cindy (Gary) Hinson of Perkinston and Ledia (Robert) Necaise of Pass Christian; his siblings Betty Merrick of Ohio; Jack Holley of Long Beach, and Mylenadia Slade of Tennessee; his 17 grandchildren Rick, Rusty, Tiffany, Jamie, Jeremy, Michelle, Ashley, Kayla, Holley, Celina, Gabriel, Laci, Joseph, Christopher, Brooklyn, Katelyn, and Payton; his 16 Great Grandchildren; his two Great-Great Grandchildren; and his ""Adopted-by-heart"" son, Stevie (Rosalyn) Peterson and their family.
Mr. Holley served in the US Army and retired from the Port of Gulfport and from the Maintenance Department of the Diamondhead POA. He was of the Baptist faith, and loved raising and racing horses.
Mr. Holley was a very loving and caring husband, father, and ""Papa"". He will be remembered as a quiet, hardworking man who put family first.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 18, 2014 after 6 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian.
The funeral service will be on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
