Gerald "Jerry" Hill

Gerald L. ""Jerry"" Hill, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on June 10, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Hill, and a sister, Sandra Hill.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Lynn Hill, his children, Deryl (Joyce) Hill, and Cozy (Greg) Higginbotham, 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, and Jackson Hill, Bayleigh Thornton and Sydney Cannette, 2 brothers, Dan (Beverly) Hill and Mike (Kay) Hill, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is also survived by his beloved pups ""Gidget"" and ""Lucy.""
Mr. Hill was retired from MS Power as a superintendent after 29 years of service. He enjoyed NASCAR and all aspects of Mississippi and the history of the state as well as all other history. He was a member of Bel Aire Baptist Church where he was a member of the Kingdom Sunday School Class and the building committee. He also enjoyed yard work, gardening, and antique cars.
A visitation will be on Friday, June 13, 2014, from 11 am - 1 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Southern Memorial Park.
