George William True, Jr., age 94, of Gulfport, passed away on November 15, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mr. True was born in Pascagoula to George William True, Sr. and Della Bufkin True. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, where he was one of the first Seabees. He worked as a Civil Engineer before his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela M. True; his parents; and a son, John A. True.
He is survived by his children, James R. True of Gulfport; granddaughter, Ashley True Kennedy; and a great grandson, John C. Kennedy, IV.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 10-11a.m. Graveside services will follow visitation at Evergreen Cemetery.
