George Wallace Shepard

George Wallace Shepard, 67, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away on December 20, 2025. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi, on March 18, 1958, moved to Slidell in 1974, and then to Kiln in 2000.

He owned Shepard Carpet Solutions for many years, working in South Louisiana and Mississippi. He enjoyed being out on the water, attending baseball games, and riding his bike in the neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leila Gahan Shepard and Charles Shepard, Sr.; his brother, Charles Shepard, Jr. (Ann); and his sister, Kate Wrenn. He is survived by his daughter, Christian Shepard; sisters Mollie Spraberry (Don) and Rene Casse; nieces Leigh Ann Marshall (Terry), Lauren Crain (Chesley), Rachel Lanzetta, and Irene Vedros (Michael); nephew Brian Spraberry (Amy), and several great nephews and a great niece.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Waveland, is assisting the family.
