George William Northrop

George William Northrop, of Benton, LA, was born November 30, 1936, and passed away on August 25, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtis Ester Ladner; his father, Alladin Northrop; his sister, Jodi, his brother, Donnie; his first wife, Barbara Northrop; and his stepmother, Dot Northrop, who was also loved by all.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Northrop; his sons, Curt Northrop and wife, Donna, George Northrop Jr.; his daughters, Darla Jones, Sharon Northrop, Branda Northrop, and Cynthia Brown.
George also leaves behind his sisters, Jean Rogers and husband, Bud, JoAnne Starret; his brothers, Ronnie Northrop and wife, Tina, Alton Northrop and wife, Carol, Kearney Northrop and wife, Diane, Keith Northrop and wife, Terri, Pete Northrop and wife, Linda, and Luke Northrop; his eight grandchildren; his five great grandchildren; and a host of friends that will miss him.
He served 20 years in the US Air Force and 35 years of training horses.
He loved his family like treasure and was loved in return. He will be missed.
The graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Ladner Cemetery in Saucier with a visitation from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. for family and friends at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
