George Levert Cowart, Sr., age 69, of Gulfport, died Feb. 10, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eddie Voncille Albert; his father, Harold Roy Cowart, Sr.; siblings, Willie Cowart, Harold Cowart, Jr., and Mary Elizabeth Vance.
He is survived by his sister, Belinda Faye Cuevas of Saucier; children, George Levert Cowart, II, and Kim Cowart; 5 grandchildren, Haiveen, Nilya, Nolen, Haydeen, and Jazzmynn Cowart; many loving nieces and nephews; and loving caretakers, Anna Cuevas and Kacie Cook, all of Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, at 10am Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
