Genny V. Stewart Todd

Genny V. Stewart Todd, age 73, and a resident of Saucier, Mississippi died Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Mrs. Todd was born to the late Daniel Stewart and the late Ruby Mae Stevens Stewart on December 4, 1939 in Wahalla, Mississippi. She was married by the Rev. Cuevas to her loving husband of 54 years on May 22, 1958. She was a resident of Saucier for 30 years and was an active member of First Pentecostal Church of Orange Grove for 26 years. She loved to shop at the Goodwill and the local Wal-Mart. Loving and spoiling her children was her specialty, biological or not. She lived, walked and talked in her faith. She was truly a blessing. She touched everyone that she met. If she had some, you had half.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Stewart and Edward Stewart; sisters, Nora Mae Smith Stewart, Mary Todd, Sarah Stewart and Elvetta Smith.
Survived by her husband, Bobby L. Todd; two children, Bobby E. Todd and Ruby G. Savage; four siblings, Lula Dean Moran, Betty Lee Smith, Linda Lou Barker and Hazel M. Smith; five grandchildren, James H. Todd, Collin R. Todd, Amanda Todd, Bobby Todd, Jr. and Daniel M. Savage; five great-grandchildren, Justin & Halie Todd, and Davony, Alexis & Carmyn Todd; two great-great-grandchildren, Jayda and Braleigh; and her dog, Sissy Girl.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the First Pentecostal Church of Orange Grove, where friends may visit one hour prior. Graveside services will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier. Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
