Armagene "Gene" Herrmann, age 90, of Gulfport, passed away on November 18, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Herrmann; 3 children, Peter E. Herrmann, Kenneth S. Herrmann and Susan G. O'Malley; and her parents, John Pearson and Arilla Taylor.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jimmy E. (Bridgett) O'Malley and Michael G. (Rhonda) Herrmann; 11 grandchildren, Diana Adams, Joshua J. O'Malley (Nikki), Karen L. Sheehan (Dennis), Christina Wallace (Nolan), Mandy Moran (John Edward), Melissa Bryant (Chad), Michael Herrmann, Jr. (Christina), Mark R. Herrmann (Rachel), Lisa St. Martin, Laura Rogers (Jonathan), and Lindsey Bond (Conner); 26 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Gene lived most of her life on the coast and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gulfport. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
