Gayle Marcella Patricks

Gayle Marcella Patricks, 78 of Gulfport passed away on February 19, 2024 at her home.  She was born on October 15, 1945 in Gulfport, MS to the late Charles Mathews & Carolyn Elizbeth Lindh Lee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat Patricks; and brother, Gorden Lee.

Gayle started her career at as a hostess at the Friendship House in Biloxi.  She was the Proprietor at Lakeview Inn “Handsboro” Yacht Club for many years. Gayle loved being around people and never met a stranger.  She was a founding member of the Crew of Gatormates, which she thoroughly enjoyed.  She was a cat lover and would help stray cats around the neighborhood.  Gayle was a one of kind individual who had a love for people, and her laughter and friendship could fill a room.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gayle is survived by her step sons, James (Kathy) Raskett, Gary (Sara) Raskett, Jay (Susie) Patricks, and Peter Patricks; grandchildren, Victora, Michael, Jennifer, Mary Ellen, Garrett, Randy, April, and Matt; sister, Robin; brother, Eric; and cats, Puss & Boots.  Gayle leaves behind a host of cherished, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 at the Riemann Family Funeral Home Gulfport (11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS).  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Riemann Funeral Home Gulfport.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gayle’s honor to the Harrison County Humane Society.
