Gavin Lee McDaniel

Gavin Lee McDaniel born in Gulfport, on December 28, 2013, went to be with Jesus on January 24, 2014 in Jefferson, LA. He was 26 days old and passed away from spinal meningitis after 12 days of fighting for his life.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Brittany De'Nell McDaniel and Barry Lee McDaniel II; grandparents, Barbara Russum Trotter and Norman Trotter, Virginia Gartman Ladner and Glynn Ladner, Jerry Carl Shankle Jr.; uncles, Parker Lee McDaniel, Blake Russum Shankle, and Nicholas Zane Comfort; aunts, Virginia Elizabeth Comfort, Shanna Patricia McDaniel, and Paula Jean Trotter; cousins, Bryce McDaniel, Nathan McDaniel, Aimee and Ashlee Wardlow, Hayden and Hadley Michaels.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014, for the family from 12Noon until 2pm and for friends from 2pm-3pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. Funeral services will be held at 3pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rouse Cemetery in Saucier.
