Garland Raymond Neideffer, age 88, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Ray was born in Illinois to Raymond and Georgia M. Clow Neideffer. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and later served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Keesler Air Force Base as an Instructor Supervisor after 33 years. He was a World Champion Archer having won many awards, and his love of archery became a family affair.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Louise Neideffer, and his parents.
He is survived by his sons, John Raymond Neideffer of Gulfport, and David H. Neideffer (Monica) of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Emily and Caroline Neideffer; and his brother, Bradley Neideffer of Oakley, IL.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road prior to graveside services.
