Frieda Gay Wilson

Frieda Gay Wilson, age 54, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Gulfport.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vent Wilson and Beulah Cuevas Wilson; her maternal and paternal grandparents; one nephew Eric Kyle Ladner; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
She leaves behind her two sisters, Cindy Hurst (Rob) of St. Antonio, TX, Bernadine Simmons (Nickie) of Lizana; one brother, Bernard Wilson (Tammy) of Lizana; three nephews. Wesley Ladner (Bridget), Heath Wilson (Amber), Justin Hurst; four nieces, Courtney Bridgeman (Jason), Alexis Ewers, Jillian Tappan (Brandon), Amity Ladner (Tony); 8 great-nieces and nephews, Ashlynn, Aubrie, Jaedyn, Evellyn, Chase, Kamron, Eric, Branson; three step-nieces, Nicole Beckham (Kevin), Tori Berggren (James), Christy Simmons; one step-nephew, Nickie Simmons Jr.,; 13 step-great-nieces and nephews, Olyvia, Diamond, Kayla, Alli, Nikkolas, Nickie III, Sebastian, Cody, Troy, Hunter, Trey, James Jr.; aunts, Betty Ladner, Marie Cuevas, Alma Wilson, Lorena Cuevas, and Donna Cuevas; and two uncles, Earl Cuevas, Nelson Cuevas (Sue).
Her hobbies included painting, watching movies, and listening to music. She had a very extensive collection of movies, CD's, jewelry, and stuffed animals. Frieda never met a stranger, had many friends, and her smile and her laughter could make your day. She was well loved by everyone that she came in contact with. She especially loved cha-chinging at the casinos with her Nickie Poo.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 1, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wolf River Cemetery.
