Freddie O’Dell Trotter, Sr., age 70 of Saucier, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Gulfport.
He was a native of Greenville, MS, and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Freddie was employed as a welder with McDermott and Halter Marine.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Preston Trotter, Sr. and Lottie Pauline Wilkerson Trotter; his son, Louis Austin Trotter; his granddaughter, Meghan Landowski; and his brother, Billy Gene Trotter.
He is survived by his children, Freddie O’Dell Trotter, Jr. (Karrie), Cheri Lynn Trotter, and Angela Howe Short (Chris), all of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Gabriel Austin Trotter of Gulfport, Zachary Preston Trotter of Gulfport, Corey Landowski of Biloxi, and Elizabeth Williams of Saucier; his great grandchildren, Hayden Landowski, Olivia Landowski, Ella Landowski, and Emmersyn Landowski, all of Biloxi; and his siblings, Bobby Louis Trotter of Saucier, Mary Diane Parker of Saucier, Doris Faye Perry of Saucier, Norman Lee Trotter of Saucier, Paula Ann Nolan of Saucier, Patricia Ann Cobern of Saucier, David Wayne Trotter of Bay Minette, AL, Louis Preston Trotter, Jr. of Saucier, Michael Ray Trotter of Pooler, GA, Linda Sue Delano of Saucier, and Paul Anthony Trotter of Saucier.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Memorial Hospital of Gulfport for their kind and generous service and for going above and beyond.
