Frank Gregory Henderson

Frank Gregory Henderson, 92, passed away Friday, April 9, 2015 in Saucier. He was retired from 30 years in the United States Navy. Starting out by serving as a mine sweeper in the South China Sea and ended as the top supervisor of Naval Intelligence over the European Fleet and NATO Forces. After his retirement he was an accountant with Peltz, Williams, Larosa and Company in Biloxi. Mr. Frank loved the Lord with all his heart. A special note from his daughter Cynthia, ""I Love you Popsicle"" ""A bushel, and a peck and a hug around the neck"". A special thanks to his sitter Yolanda Naranjo that the family entrusted their Dad's care to. Thanks also to Kare-N-Home Hospice for the loving care they provided him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Henderson; parents, Robert Henderson and Hattie Hoyle Henderson; 2 sons, Gregory Paul Henderson and John Thomas Henderson; brother, Robert Henderson, Jr.; sister, Ellen Baker.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Chadwick (Alvin) of Saucier; 8 grandchildren, Jonothan Henderson of Woolmarket, Michael Henderson of Florida, Amanda Necaise of Gulfport, Brian Malley of Saucier, Nathan Chadwick of Saucier, Krissthy Chadwick of Saucier, Sarah Fairley of Saucier and Wendy Spohnholz of Wasilla, AK; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews, Bob Henderson of Tyler, TX and Bill Baker of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 nieces, Virginia Baker Owen of Mobile, AL and Jean Henderson Glover of San Diego, CA
A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Unity Baptist Church in McHenry, MS. A visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will follow the service at Saucier Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
