Frances B. Stringer, age 85 of Gulfport, died on Monday, April 17, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Stringer retired as a supervisor in the medical records department at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, after 27 years of service.
Mrs. Stringer is preceded in death by her parents, E.E. & Gordia Lawrence Bateman; her son, Robert L. Stringer, Sr. and her brother, Stevie D. Bateman, Sr. She is survived her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Stringer of Gulfport; her grandson, Robert L. (Bobby) Stringer of Gulfport; her two great-grandchildren, Robert Gannon Stringer and Alise Olivia Stringer; her sister-in- law, Betty Bateman and her nephew, Stevie D. Bateman, Jr., both of Laurel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 from 9:30-10:30a.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc., Three Rivers Road Chapel, Gulfport. Graveside services will follow at 11:00am at Finley Cemetery. An online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
