Frances McClantoc

FRANCES  MAE LACY MCCLANTOC, age 88, passed away on January 30, 2023 in Gulfport, Mississippi.      

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Earl Lacy and Frances Claude Thompson; one daughter, Patricia Lynn Barnard; her husband, James H McClantoc; two brothers and five sisters; and a granddaughter, Candace R. Bethea-Doty.

She has left to cherish her memory three children, Ann Bethea (David), Jamie Barnard, and Kelly Barlow; grandchildren, Kevin D. Bethea, Christina J. Bethea Meredith (Cort), Jeannette M. Norman (Rob), Megan Daughenbaugh, Terry Barlow (Courtney); and great grandchildren Madelyn Doty, Nathan Doty, Lanee Daughenbaugh, Cortlyn Meredith, Cate Meredith, Charlee Norman and Leo Norman.

Ms. McClantoc was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Always a terrific, loving, mother that was full of life and love especially for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Each one had a treasured spot in her heart. She was a former employee of Pass Christian Garment Industry.

A service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation 30 minutes prior at Riemann Family Funeral Home 19130 Commission Rd. Long Beach, MS. A graveside service will follow at Finley Cemetery.
