Fr. John Ugochukwu, age 73, of Gulfport, passed away on August 1, 2023.
Fr. John was the beloved Chaplain at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport where he ministered to thousands of patients and numerous hospital employees.
A visitation will be on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10 - 11 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church. Interment will be in Ekwulobia Priest's Cemetery, Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area, Amanbra State, Nigeria.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, is assisting the family.
