Forest Stanley ""Pops"" Schneider, 88 years old, of Gulfport, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2013.
He was born January 24, 1925 in Benton Harbor, MI and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from St. Joseph County as a surveyor and recorder's office.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois, and second wife, Theresa.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Pam Schneider, Palm Harbor, FL, stepdaughters, Vicky Flanery, Bremen, IN and Pam Piechocki, South Bend, IN, grandchildren, Kelsie and Luke Schneider, Palm Harbor, FL, and a cousin, Jean Gruza, South Bend, IN.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 12:30 pm in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
