Fay Engolia, age 92 of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Engolia, Sr.; her son, Salvador Engolia, Jr.; her daughter, Patricia Engolia Buttone and her husband Harold Buttone; and two brothers, Peyton Thomaston and Roy Thomaston.
Fay is survived by her children, Susan DeHart of Gulfport and Joseph Engolia and his wife, Candice of St. Petersburg, FL; her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Engolia; her five grandchildren, Stephen Engolia, Chris Engolia, Salvador Engolia, III, Connie Silbernagel and Ricky English; and one great grandchild, Coley English.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Fay was a member of American Rosie the Riveter Association and a member of Bayou View Baptist Church in Gulfport.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00am until the service. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Military Baptist Church Cemetery, Sumrall, MS.
