Evie Cuevas

Evie Ann Lee Cuevas, 78, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Bay St. Louis.
She was a native and life-long resident of the coast. She worked at the Hancock County Sheriff's office, retired from the Hancock County Chancery Clerk's office and was a Pink Lady at Hancock Medical Center. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge 429 of Bay St. Louis. Mrs. Cuevas loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gussy A. Cuevas; parents, Laura Edith and Wilton Hoda.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda C. Favre of Kiln, Rachalle A. Cuevas of Waveland and Patrick Cuevas (Shelley) of Waveland; grandchildren, Brooke Rester (William), Lyndi Slade (Dustin) and Patrick B. Cuevas, II; two great-grandchildren, Emma Rester and Lennon Rester; a special friend of the family, Rhonda Taylor.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, January, 2, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, 141 Main St., Bay St Louis. A visitation will be held at 10:00AM until service time at the church. A burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
