Everett Herman Mills, age 89, of Perkinston, passed away on February 24, 2009 in Perkinston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Earl H. Mills; his parents; a brother and a sister.
He is survived by his children, Everett """"Ebby"""" W. Mills of Perkinston, Juanita Warren of Gulfport, and Jim Melvin of Florida; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army in North Africa, Italy, Casino, Anzio, the Solomon Islands, and participated in the battles of Bataan and Omaha Beach. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 12:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi.
