Everett James Ladner, age 82, of Pass Christian, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Mr. Ladner was born in Harrison County to Cornelius and Celina Ladner. He served in the United States Army before going to work as a nurse for the Veterans Administration and was very active at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian where he resided most of his life. Mr. Ladner enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, and being around the water.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Ladner; his parents; four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his daughter, Denise Ladner Seay (Russell) of Bay St. Louis; grandchildren, Jessica S. Hudson (Hugh), Brittany S. Bounds (Christopher), and Meghan S. Whitman (Kelly); great grandchildren, Gabriel Hudson, Eli Hudson, Kyndle Hudson, and Evelyn Bounds; and his siblings, Wilbon Ladner, Renelder Ladner, and Vera Necaise.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Pass Christian, from 9:30-11:30am.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30am. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army.
