Evelyn Faye Parker

Mrs. Evelyn Faye Parker, age 75, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her residence in Ocean Springs, MS.
Mrs. Parker was preceded in death only two weeks previously by her husband of 53 years, Wilbern Parker; and earlier by her parents, Bilbo and Anna Lee Harvison; and her son, Jamey Parker.
A native of Greene County, MS, Mrs. Parker is survived by her son, Murray Simmons, of McLain; her daughters, Deborah Fremin of Ocean Springs and Marlene Taylor of Hattiesburg; her two grandchildren, Mathew Taylor and Ashley Rundberg; her three brothers, Douglass Harvison, Billy Harvison, and Richard Harvison; and her sister, Barbara Randall.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker, an avid gardener, and a lover of reading who took pleasure in needlework and arranging flowers. She enjoyed the years spent traveling overseas when her husband was active duty military. Mrs. Parker took a keen interest in the education of her children and later her grandchildren. Her many kindnesses and talents will be missed by family and friends alike.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Evelyn Parker will be held at 1:00 P.M., March, 29th, at Arlington Baptist Church in Beaumont, Mississippi.
