Evelyn Grace Carroll, age 99 of Hattiesburg, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

She is survived by her children, Rick (Bunny) Carroll and Kathy Carroll Parlin; her granddaughter, Deanna Carroll Parlin (Andrew) Battley; her great grandson, Finley Battley; her great granddaughter, Kate Martin Battley and her nephew, W. Mac (Suzanne) Allen.

Born on July 7, 1927, to Hilliard and Celia McNeese in Sumrall, MS. She was married to Normal L. Carroll (deceased) for 37 years, and they raised two children together. They started Carroll Jewelry in Pascagoula, then Lucedale and finally Hattiesburg with Ricky after Norman passed. Evelyn worked at CJC helping customers and stringing pearls for sales and restringing pearls for customers own pearls. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Roseland Park Cemetery, Hattiesburg.
