Evangeline Mortgoukos Roybal, age 87, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Mrs. Roybal was born in Charleston, WV, to Nick and Mary Mortgoukos. She was a homemaker, a Red Cross volunteer, and member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Roybal, Jr.; two infant children, Mary and Joseph Roybal; her parents; and her siblings, Katherine Schroeder and Sarah Grant.
She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Mario J. Roybal (Carol) of Ocean Springs, and Evan Roybal of Biloxi; grandchildren, Anne Lauren, Brennan, Angela, Stephen, Amy, Elissa, Catherine, and Maria Roybal; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Telgenhoff and Teresa Meza; and extended family and close church friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Beauvoir Road, at 9:00 a.m.
Entombment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 255 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. The family would like to also express a special thank you to the staff at Biloxi Community Living Center and the 6th Floor staff at Biloxi Regional Hospital.
